cookies {lifestyle + family photographer houston, tx}

Every once in a while I get a little crazy with the sneak peek..this is one of those times:)I am warning you now…brace yourself.

I had so much fun with this family. I could just go on & on about how awesome they are but you can just look at their pictures & see for yourself! We started with baking cookies, then played on the playset, read books, played on the couch, went to the park.

This is my FAVORITE type of session. Casual, fun, relaxed…some lifestyle mixed in with some portraits…Even the family dog was photogenic:)Little Hank was posing for me so I just had to keep taking his picture!Sidenote: this session produced way more images than usual! A typical gallery is 30-40 pictures. These childres were unusually tolerant of being in front of the camera & were able to last a long time! Picking an activity (like baking cookies) to do in a lifestyle setting also produces more images – iust don’t want anyone to get disappointed if their gallery isn’t as big! This is unusual!My mom always told me that there is no such thing as being perfect. That NO ONE is perfect. So I have always believed my mom because moms are always right, right? If there’s no such thing as perfect, this gorgeous little family is the closest thing to it in my eyes:)Thank you so much for asking me to take your pictures. I enjoyed every second of it!Happy Mother’s Day, Tara! I hope you have a great day.

austin {newborn photography katy, tx}

now for the long awaited sneak peek of sweet, adorable little austin! i have never taken this long (two weeks – eek!) for a sneak peek. elizabeth contacted me last minute for some newborn pictures when her son was a month old. having a month old babe myself i felt for her & knew i just had to squeeze little austin in! after i shot the session i shot several more family sessions & a wedding, so although i have been working on the images, i never had the time to squeeze in a sneak peek. so sorry! can’t wait to show you the full gallery. so glad we were able to squeeze this session in before austin got bigger. he is PRECIOUS. loved meeting you guys:)HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!! xoxo.
